From there, we'll begin a deeper, more technical and artistic process. We'll dive into creating aerial view cliffs in large format works. Throughout the course, I will guide you step-by-step so you understand each phase of the process and can enjoy resin from a more free, experimental, and conscious place.

You will learn how to correctly choose supports based on the size and weight of the artwork. We will cover: Which surfaces are suitable for medium and large formats. When to use MDF and when to avoid it. Alternatives in wood, okoumé, and plywood canvases. Which materials are truly essential and which are optional. I will also show you alternatives to substitute any material if you can't find it in your country, so you can take the course wherever you are.

In this section, you will learn how to select the right resin for cliff work and understand how it behaves in layers, reliefs, and deep areas. I will teach you how to respect proportions, properly prepare mixtures, and avoid common mistakes that can ruin a piece, even when using good materials. We also delve into the selection and use of pigments, learning how to dose them correctly to achieve natural colors, realistic transparencies, and an authentic sense of depth in the sea and rock.

Working with resin safely is essential. In this section, I will show you the basic protective measures, how to prepare your workspace, and what to keep in mind to enjoy the process calmly and without risks.

Before you start creating, preparation is everything. Here you will learn how to properly level your surface, protect the edges, and prepare your piece to receive the resin, avoiding mistakes that can ruin the final result.

We'll begin to build the character of the cliff. You'll learn to plan the initial design of the artwork, understand the composition and natural movement of the rock, and work with textures from the ground up. I'll show you how to properly prepare and apply relief pastes and how to prepare the surface using different priming techniques, so that the final result has strength, coherence, and a natural finish.

We delve into pictorial techniques that bring realism and depth to cliffs. You will learn to work with different coloring and oxidation techniques, understanding how to integrate tones, shadows, and nuances without overworking the piece. Each technique is explained step by step so that you understand not only the how but also the why of each artistic decision.

You will discover how to choose and combine colors to create balanced, natural, and harmonious seascapes. Beyond specific shades, you will learn the logic of the technique so you can then apply it to any palette and your own style. You will learn to create seabed backgrounds with a real sense of depth, integrating corals and submerged areas that add visual richness to the artwork. I will show you how to work these elements in a balanced way so that they complement the cliff without overshadowing it, and help create a coherent and lively scene.

In this course, you will create two complete artworks, applying two different resin and texturizing techniques, so you can understand how the result varies depending on the working method and choose the one that best suits your style.
