I am Eva Jurado,
As a child, I learned to draw before I could speak. For me , art is the great language of the heart . I studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, and for most of my life, I dedicated myself to research in the field of art and science. I was also an " unconventional " teacher, and although I painted in oils from a young age, I never fully devoted myself to artistic creation... until I discovered resin .
When she came into my life, it was a revolution; my first contact with resin was so frustrating and disastrous that it seemed like a personal challenge to learn to understand it.
One day, without knowing how, I became so comfortable creating with resin that it allowed me to fully express myself through it; it became the material that brought me closest to conveying and remembering the encounter we all have with our Being, both externally and internally. Little by little, I integrated my own techniques and incorporated natural textures, reliefs, and sculptural processes in combination with the resin.
I love creating large formats, creating pieces that express the unique stories you convey to me and that adapt to a space as if they have always belonged there.
For months, I received hundreds of messages asking if I gave classes, to which I always replied no. When I felt ready to share all my knowledge and passion in the most honest way, I decided to also offer my services to mentor and share all my experience. In just a few months, I've seen that it was the best decision of my life, because I realized that these weren't just classes to teach a technique; they were spaces for liberation, for deep emotional expression, for remembering that the most important work of art has always been… YOU .
CREATE WITH RESIN
“ Creating with crystal resin is not easy, but when you understand its fickle and fluid nature, like life itself, you come to realize that it is a material that needs to be felt and caressed .”
The space I would have liked to find
It all started a few years ago when I decided to buy a couple of cans and experiment in my garage… it seemed like the strangest, most complicated, and most stubborn material I'd ever encountered. But it was also fascinating and hypnotic, so I decided not to give up and keep going, mistake after mistake. I always had my family by my side, telling me, “ Just keep swimming .” During those years, the resin taught me so many lessons about its own nature that it helped me integrate vital lessons of persistence and confidence into the process. Without knowing how, one day I became such good friends with it that the garage became my full-time workshop, my home.
Now that seed has sprouted, and that space has expanded to a new physical workshop in El Vendrell, Tarragona, Spain, and this virtual space where whether you want a special piece, want to learn Ocean Resin Art 3D with me, or need any material for the production of your works, it is available instantly.
In my beginnings it wasn't easy and I have built with all the detail and love together with my family the space that I would have liked to find when I started in the world of resin .
