Supports and Materials
In this first block you will familiarize yourself with everything you will need to create your work.
We'll look at the most suitable supports, which materials are truly essential and which are optional, so you can start confidently and without overcomplicating things.
Types of Resins and Pigments
You will learn how to correctly choose the ideal resin for Ocean Art 2D and understand its characteristics to work with confidence.
I also explain how to select and use quality pigments, how to dose and combine them to achieve transparency, depth and natural colors in the sea and the beach.
Security Measures
Working safely with resin is essential.
In this section I'll show you the basic protection measures, how to prepare your workspace, and what to keep in mind to enjoy the process calmly and without risks.
Preparation of the work
Before you start creating, preparation is everything.
Here you will learn how to properly level your support, protect the edges, and prepare your work to receive the resin, avoiding mistakes that can ruin the final result.
Design and Sketch of the Work
You will develop the initial sketch of the Canary pool, learning to visualize the composition, the water areas, the rocks and the waves to achieve a realistic visual balance before starting with the volume and resin.
Creation of rocky bottoms
You will learn to construct rocky bottoms with a 3D effect, creating a sense of depth and volume underwater using sculptural and painting techniques. You will discover how to simulate submerged rocks and natural transitions between the bottom and the surface.
Sculptural and pictorial techniques
You will create relief sculptures and reliefs of volcanic rocks, understanding timing, textures, and forms to achieve an organic and realistic finish. You will learn about alternative materials to adapt the technique to what you have available.
You will explore different painting techniques to bring rocks to life, nuances of color and a sense of moisture, using glazes, acrylics and artistic resources that provide depth and realism before the resin coating.
Color selection
You will discover how to choose and combine colors to create balanced, natural, and harmonious seascapes.
Beyond the specific shades, you will learn the logic of the technique so that you can then apply it to any palette and your own style.
Resin Session
We're entering the most exciting part of the process.
I guide you step by step through the resin application session and the creation of the wave, teaching you how to control the movement of the resin, the effects, and the little tricks that make all the difference in achieving a clean and professional finish.
You will learn to master the waves and all the tricks so that they won't resist you in your creations.
Overcoming frustration and enjoying the process
Resin doesn't always behave as we expect, and that's also part of the learning process.
In this course I share with you key tips to understand the technique, avoid frustrations and learn to enjoy the creative process, even when something doesn't work out the first time.

Why learn at GreenMaiden?
I am Eva Jurado , artist and founder of GreenMaiden .
I started working with resin when there were no clear courses or training programs.
I learned on my own, through trial and error, wasting materials, losing time, and often facing results that weren't what I was looking for. Even so, there was something about that difficult and unpredictable material that captivated me and pushed me to keep going.
Over the years, and after a great deal of practice, I developed and perfected many of the techniques I teach today. Not because they were fashionable, but because there was nothing on the market that explained how to work with resin in a clear, safe, and artistic way.
GreenMaiden was born from that. From the need to create the space that I would have liked to find when I started.
In my courses I teach you the technique as I apply it in my work, with a structured and honest method, so that you don't make the same mistakes, don't waste materials and can move forward with confidence from the beginning.
My intention is not for you to copy what I do. On the contrary: I want you, once you understand the technique, to find your own artistic language, develop your personal way of creating, and become an artist from your own perspective.
