What will you experience?
In this special 3-day seminar on creating seas and cliffs in resin, you will not only find a safe space in which to express yourself freely while creating a unique work of art.
As well as learning all the techniques for artistic creation in resin, you will have the chance to explore your inner ocean in full connection with nature through dynamics and activities that will help you unblock trapped emotions, fears and limitations.
In these 3 days we will go deeper into the art of living, into how our creative mind works and how to extend it into your day to day.
Why did I start making creations in Resin?
After dark times and a great deal of being misunderstood, a vital need was born to create with my hands what I did not know how to express in words. When resin came into my life, I found a material that brought me closer to expressing what was happening inside me.
I had never experienced the concentration and levels of attention that were needed during the creative process with resin. I had no guidance and the beginnings with it were not kind; little by little, it went from being a stubborn, strange, difficult material to work with, to being a fluid, crystalline and magical medium with which I created my own technique from scratch. In the process, I realised I was able to go into aspects of myself I had never observed before, to see when my thoughts fell silent, and to enter the creative moment with such passion that I felt I was merging with the piece.

Creating 3D Seas and Oceans in Resin
Ocean Resin Art · Technique and process
You will learn the fundamentals and key techniques of Ocean Art 3D with epoxy resin, understanding how the material works, how to feel it and how to work it so it plays in your favour.
Realistic waves and advanced techniques
We will work on different ways of creating realistic waves, understanding which technique to use depending on the effect you want and the style of your piece.
Colour and movement
You will learn all the basics of pigmentation to draw out the maximum potential, realism and luminosity in your pieces.
Safety and confidence with resin
You will acquire the knowledge needed to work epoxy resin safely and effectively, gaining confidence at every step of the process.
Reliefs, cliffs and textures
You will explore creating reliefs from scratch, using sands, rocks and pastes to give shape to beaches and cliffs with volume, strength and naturalness.
An experience that goes beyond technique
You will live the emotional experience of creating with resin, learning to move through fears, blocks and frustrations, and to enjoy the creative process with presence and calm.

A farmhouse surrounded by forest
Mas de Borrás in Villahermosa del Río is a traditional farmhouse, in the middle of nature and at the foot of the Penyagolosa massif, surrounded by forest. And even so, the Mediterranean is only 50 kilometres away, so it can become a very special place to spend a holiday with all the landscapes of our region within reach.
Near its location you can enjoy the river Carbo, medieval villages, abandoned hamlets, Iberian ruins and much more, not forgetting the picturesque Villahermosa del Río.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to Mas de Borràs? Can I come by public transport?
The farmhouse is an hour from the centre of Castellón. Ideally you come by car. If you don't have one, we always coordinate arrivals with the other students once the group is closed. Another option is to reach Castellón train station, where we can coordinate pick-ups.
What if in the end I cannot attend?
You have a full refund within 30 days of your booking. After that period the amount is not lost: it remains in your favour to be exchanged for any other in-person or online training of equivalent value.
Can pets come?
On this occasion it is not possible, and it is a decision we take with their well-being in mind. We spend many hours in the workshops working with resin, an environment in which animals cannot be, and leaving them alone in the middle of the mountains (with the local wildlife) would not be safe for them either. The only exception is if you come with a companion who can take care of them at all times; in that case, and always following the farmhouse rules, pets will not be able to access the communal areas.
Can I come with someone?
Yes. Your companion can stay at a special rate on a full-board basis and join the group dynamics, the talks and the moments of relaxation. The only thing reserved for the retreat places is the creation of the resin piece; everything else is included for your companion. Write to us and we will give you the details.
Do I take the piece home?
Yes, the piece is yours. If you cannot take it with you, we organise the shipping for you; the cost varies according to the province or country of destination.
What if I have allergies or intolerances?
No problem at all. Tell us when you book and we will let the kitchen know so they can prepare a special menu adapted to you.
Is it compulsory to do all the group activities?
No, not at all. This gathering is designed so that you feel completely free to listen to your inner voice and respect your own pace and process.
How do I attend if I am from another country?
In previous editions we have welcomed students from other countries and continents. The two most recommended options are to fly into Madrid-Barajas or Barcelona-El Prat airport. From there, many retreat attendees have organised themselves to share the journey and come together, and another popular option is to hire a car at the airport itself.
