What materials do I need?

For this course you will need few materials, and all of them easy to get:

 

From our shop: the Special Art resin (included with the course), a green or blue from the Aqua Collection (or the shades you like most), the White Light white for the waves and a small wooden canvas.

 

From around the house or easy to get: scales, small cups and sticks for mixing, a kitchen torch or hairdryer, enamel and acrylic paint, a little wood filler (or Aquaplast) and stones or sand you want to include.

How do I get the free course?

When you buy any Special Art Resin you get the course as a gift. After your purchase you receive an email with immediate access to the platform. You will find it under: My account › My courses. Access is unlimited: you can watch it as many times as you need.

What is the difference between Medium and High Density?

Both are formulated for art, are 1:1, ultra crystal-clear, without odours or organic vapours and do not yellow. The difference is the viscosity and the curing: the Medium Density is more fluid and cures in 24h; the High is more viscous and cures in only 4h. Both work for any project, and you can even combine them in different layers of the same piece. The choice is a matter of preference.

Is the resin toxic? Can I use it at home?

Green Maiden resin is non-toxic once cured, with no emission of organic vapours (no VOCs) and no endocrine disruptors, far more respectful than others on the market. Even so, always use it with gloves, a mask and in a ventilated space. It has a European certificate and is even suitable for children's toys.

Do I need previous experience?

None. The course is designed to start from scratch, at your own pace and with no deadlines. With your resin and simple materials you create your first framed piece. Most products are in our shop; for the rest we indicate substitutes that are easy to find.

How long do I have to work with it and how long does it take to cure?

The working time is 40 to 55 minutes depending on the temperature. The High Density cures in only 4h (you continue the same day); the Medium is dry to the touch in 24h. Optimal conditions: 22–25 °C and humidity below 50%.

Do you ship outside Spain?

Shipping is available in Spain with delivery within a maximum of 7 working days. If you live outside, write to us and we will tell you the options for your country.

Are the materials for this course easy to get?

Yes, you can access the products and materials easily. The vast majority of the products needed to create these pieces are available in our online shop. We also ship to the European Union. For the rest of the countries, the substitutes needed to take the course are indicated, all easily accessible.

Can I study at my own pace or are there deadlines?

There are no deadlines, you can access the course and each lesson as many times as you need. At your own pace.
